Based on the advantages of "low-latency control, large-bandwidth monitoring and highly reliable connection" of 5G technology, we gradually promote the upgrading and innovation of high-definition remote monitoring, AI analysis of cargo ships, high-precision positioning, intelligent and connected driving and other applications, so as to contribute to smart port operation, e-commerce-based logistics services, and platform-based enterprise management, boost port operation efficiency, and promote the construction of "green, low-carbon and smart" port.

The 5G Industrial CPE and 5G Module of TD Tech have been applied to Ningbo Port and Xiamen Yuanhai Terminal. TD Tech, by working with its partners, has realized high-definition video backhauling, gantry crane remote control, automated driving and other services, doing its bit in realizing the smart and digital upgrading of ports.

For the Ningbo Port, TD Tech worked with its partners for "remote control, automation and intelligence" upgrade of the port, realizing crane remote control through 5G + PLC, automated monitoring of the yard efficiency through 5G + AI, and building of a digital twin port through 5G cloud dispatching of AGVs, UAVs and robots.

TD Tech 5G Industrial CPE will help the ports to meet the demand for low latency and large bandwidth through its application to remote crane control, unmanned transport vehicles, video monitoring, UAV patrol inspection and other fields, so as to greatly improve the freight movement efficiency in the port.

In addition, TD Tech 5G Industrial CPE is equipped with highly reliable industrial protection to address the effect of high air humidity and salt spray concentration on the device caused by the special environment of the port; its 5M3 earthquake-proof capability protects it from earthquake and impact, and ensures its normal and stable operation under the working environment with the operation of many lifting machines in the port, thus effectively helping improve the digitalization and informatization capabilities of the port.
